Adorable in August

I cannot believe it is already August..and that August is almost over! This year has just flown by! Lots happened for us this month. I would say the biggest thing is that I got a job...yay! I was hoping for a teaching position, but I took a job as a paraprofessional in early childhood special ed. It is already opening doors for me. I was asked to interview for a teaching spot, but it turned out to be out of my certification. I am positive that only good things can come! Matylda is going to an in-home daycare with 2 other kids a little younger than her. She loves it! I think I shed more tears than she did...in fact, I'm positive that's how it worked. She is such a trooper and has adjusted really well to the change.

It has been way hot here. I finally asked David to climb up and close the top blind. We are locked in now, but its too hot for any other way!
