First Swim

We are having a big week of firsts this week! Matylda got her first dip in the swimming pool. I was so anxious to get her in the pool, but we waited for Daddy to visit. He misses a lot so he wanted to be there and we wanted him there, too!

Round 1 of the pool was not very successful. She was tired and pretty much showed no expression the entire time. Needless to say, we were only outside for about 15 minutes. Round 2 (post-nap) was much better and of course, I didn't get a single picture of that action. She was laughing and splashing..we might have a little water baby! But, due to big thunder in the sky, we had to exit the pool quickly after about 20 minutes of play. I'm sure there is more of this playtime to come!
